When connected to a PC or POS system, this application swiftly transmits scanned barcodes via RFCOMM. In the absence of a connection, it seamlessly transitions to portable data terminal mode, storing all scanned barcodes in a database for future use. Notably, versions 1.3.0 and beyond support serial numbers.

Compatible with standard smartphones, tablets, and professional hybrid devices featuring built-in barcode scanners, this application offers versatility and convenience across various devices.

The camera-scanner functionality excels at reading popular barcode formats, including UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, EAN-13, Code 39, Code 93, Code 128, ITF, Codabar, RSS-14, RSS Expanded, QR Code, Data Matrix, MaxiCode, and PDF417.

In addition to using the built-in camera scanner, users can connect external hardware barcode scanners as HID or Broadcast Intent for enhanced flexibility.

For quick setup:

1. Pair your smartphone and PC.
2. Launch the application.
3. On your PC, navigate to Control Panel - Devices and Printers - Change Bluetooth settings. Add an outgoing port for your smartphone with Lineris Barcode Service in the COM ports tab.
4. Configure your PC software to work with the newly created COM port.

For efficient use of names database with barcodes, scan the QR code linking to a JSON file URL or web-service GET method using the specified format provided.

The portable data terminal offers seamless data transfer to PCs via Bluetooth without requiring additional software. Users can also utilize web-services by scanning QR codes ending with "upload," allowing easy data packaging in a JSON array for POST requests.
